The Gospel Folk, Canberra

Make this year your brightest year yet – come and sing with The Gospel Folk. We are actively recruiting new members. No auditions. Read more about joining here.

We’re a non-auditioned choir of men and women, based in Canberra, Australia.  We’re a very friendly group of singers who have fun at practices, social events and performances.  We sing a varied repertoire of gospel, folk, African and other songs, usually in four part harmony; soprano, alto, tenor, bass.

Our main aim is to sing well enough to perform in public.  This means we commit to getting to rehearsals regularly, practising our parts and participating at our public performances.

Singing in the community in 2023, with thanks from a Community Grant from the Southern Cross Club
